Today my iphone 5s was unlocked and I am very pleased. It did take almost a week due to problems with the Vodafone unlock servers not being available for unlocking. I had almost given up because it was taking so long. However, official unlock assured me it would happen today and it did, many thanks to Luke in support dept.

My iphone6s plus is unlocked an now has a giffgaff SIM in it! … There was a couple days delay which tbh I didn't even realise but I received 2 email updates about the delay and then a reassurance email … and today the email to say it's unlocked an steps on what to do next! Absolutley no problems what so ever put the giffgaff SIM in it and it took about 4 minutes for the phone to recognise the SIM even called my sister to double check that it would ring out and it did!!

I needed to unlock an iPhone 5S from Vodafone and this was a fairly simple process to do. The unlock was delivered over the Bank Holiday weekend for which I am very grateful. The actual unlicking was quick and easy, with no need to connect to iTunes.

A brilliant service. Have used this company a few times. Unfortunately some network locks are expensive so worth checking before purchasing a locked network phone as prices are set by the Network.

I spent over a month communicating with Vodafone and their partner organisation Red Squid trying to get my phone unlocked. Despite being with them for over 2 years and having spent several £1,000's with them they were either unable or unwilling to unlock my phone! This was despite many long and painful phone conversations (not to mention hold time), E-mails and unnecessary online forms! OfficialiPhoneUnlock.co.uk only took a few moments of my time to complete a simple form, and a week later the jobs done! Wished I had just done that in the first place!

Was a bit dubious to start off with about using this service but need not have worried. I phone 5 was locked to vodaphone - successfully unlocked within the exact time frame quoted. Plugged in SIM card , connected to wifi and hey presto Ive got a new phone - good job as my old one fell down the loo last night !

I found this provider from a trusted website and let them do the unlocking for me where Vodafone were making me jump through a few hoops that I didn't have time to do whilst I was abroad. The unlock was very much set-and-forget. All I had to do was to wait for the notification that it was done. Granted, it cost a bit more, but this was worth the lack of hassle for me. I would do this again in the future.

Phoone shops locally quoted the same price as this site but advised me the unlock would take around 3 weeks, Decided to go with this site as it would take between 1-5 days which it took the 5 days including new years day and the weekends. I was worried as reading the reviews on google were mixed but im glad I took the decision to choose this site. I wanted to unlock my ipad that was locked to Vodaphone when Vodaphone told me that not only did my ipad not exist, but neither did I. This was after 25 calls over 5 and a half hours, 3 webchats and 9 emails. I have no interest in Jailbreaking just in using another network. This wasn't the cheapest advertised service but it offered money back if it wasnt unlocked and better still a lifetime promise and the ability to maintain my warrenty and update my ipad. I ordered this at 6 am on Thursday and it was unlocked 2pm the following Wednesday. I simply put in a new sim, the ipad asked for me to put my id in to activate which I did and job done. Cant fault it.

I'm not a fan of services like this that charge for unlocking your handset when your carrier will do it for free but sometimes doing it through your carrier doesn't work. I'm a Vodafone customer that asked them to unlock my hanset but after 3 attempts I started searching for this company. At 1st when I looked at the price I thought it was a scam but after reading reviews decided to go ahead. I had to wait for 4 days but they did it and it now workes on any network.

The only reason I am not giving the site 5 stars is due to the fact I had not received any communication from them regarding the delay, otherwise excellent service.

It has taken 5 working days but after checking the status online this morning it was finally green!! I put my EE sim in straight away and woohoo im good to go! I bought this unlock at £36 for my iPhone 5 then went on line and thought maybe I'd made a mistake but my phone was unlocked today exactly 7 days after I ordered it! I was soo made up

After trying to get the phone unlocked by another online merchant I came across officialiphoneunlock.co.uk on the web and being impressed by the reviews requested an unlock.
After 3 days I was updated to say my unlock would take a couple of days longer and hey presto by 5 days working days in total phone was unlocked, great service and the up to date emails saved me time having to contact them to find out what was happening. Thanks so much.

My iphone was locked through Vodafone and they were difficult to deal with. With OfficialiPhoneUnlock the process was automated and took about 60 hrs.

It took them a total of 6 days against promised 24-48 hours to unlock the phone.
I was of the opinion that i've lost the money that i paid for the unlock but finally now that the phone is unlocked no complaints..

Took about 5 days due to problems with vodaphone carriers ...was updated on this by email when I asked after 3 days ....put new EE sim in phone ....EE immediately recognised it ..reboot phone ...job done .

Had to wait longer than initially advised, 7 days not 1-2, this was due to delays with vodaphone but communication good maintained throughout and phone now unlocked as promised would use again and all bad reviews should be taken with a pinch of salt I would suggest

I never thought it would unlock as it took more time then connect to iTunes and did a restore iPhone and away I went with the network unlock costly as was on Vodafone but good thing was I got to keep my hand set the whole time while it unlocked my iPhone great service thank you a++

I have unlocked many phones for myself and my friends. It's a really good service. It does what it says. Sometimes there are delays but end result is good. It Permanatly unlockes the phone and you can use any network sim without any problem. I would recommend to anyone.

I was skeptical at first as most places say they can do phone unlocking just to find out it has not worked. Official phone unlock did as they said and unlocked the phone the system updated it's self instantly and now I can choose which sim provider I want to use. I chose this company because I'd get to keep hold of the handset whilst it was being unlocked They said 1-4 working days but it took about a week. They state on the website that they do not work weekends and they deal with over 300 imei numbers every day I just wish they had replied to my email when I asked how much longer it would be after the first week of waiting.

After trying numerous unlocking software and spending endless HOURS and HOURS of trying to unlock my iphone 4 from Vodafone (UK) I finally decided to throw caution to the wind and trust this site with my 45 pounds. I'm a very mistrusting person in general (maybe even paranoid) but you need to be when using the internet. I didn't even believe these reviews were even real as its not difficult to fake user reviews, so I honestly half expected to be ripped off! I'm very pleased to report this site is genuine! I received an email on the 4th working day after payment telling me my phone was unlocked. At first I thought it hadn't worked as it never updated using my wifi connection, but after direct connection to itunes on my computer it suddenly recognized my sim :) Although Vodafone offer a 20 pound charge for this service I was not the original owner and did not have the relevant info to fill out their online application, plus I'm English living in Bulgaria, so contacting them would have been an issue. So yes even though I'm in east Europe this service still worked to unlock my UK phone allowing me to use a Bulgarian sim. 10/10 service, just a shame its quite expensive.

In the end it took 10 days to unblock, well worth it. I was waiting nearly 5 weeks with Vodafone themselves and no success, however I had no email contact while waiting although trying to email.

Once I received my notification that my mobile was unlocked I used my laptop and iTunes to complete the task.
This worked with no problem.
If I was to recommend one thing apply for your code at the beginning of the week as the weekend days are not included in your 24 to 72 hours.

IPhone 4s locked to Vodafone entered imei paid , received email confirmation of my order which you can track online then less than 2days later received email with your IPhone is now unlocked along with instructions (put in sim you want to use ...switch on enter apple I.D.) DONE!!! that's the process complete nothing else
no drama no connect to this or go to this that and the other really really easy would recommend to anyone.
If I have one gripe its the cost of Vodafone unlock compared to other networks but that's Vodafone for you!

In their FAQ, they state that the iPhone doesn't even need to be activated in order to process the unlock. This isn't true, as I received an email 6 hours after submitting my first attempt, where they told me that the iPhone had to be activated at least once for the IMEI process to go through. That led me to more expense than planned in getting a new Nano-SIM from Vodafone. Once that was dealt with, I told them to try again and, just shy of 72 hours, the phone was unlocked and I could use my iPhone 5C hassle free.
Very professional and easy service to use though. Not a scam as I had first thought and saved me an awful lot of time, hassle and money. Would definitely recommend.

I was abit confused whether i made payment to a scam site or not. Unlock was expected on friday. On friday i got suspecious when unlock wasn't done yet and emailed the support asking about it. I saw two missed calls from the support team which gave me some confidence in them that they genuine. Next day my phone was unlocked. Thanks guys I'll recommend you anytime.

I was very envious about using this way of unlocking as I'd read allot of bad reviews about other sites and that there were many scams however I took the plunge and within 72 working hours I got an email telling me to put my SIM card in and sure enough it worked straight away.
I've never been more pleased. Thoroughly recommend this service to anyone that has a phone locked to the wrong network. The high street mobile network shops (vodaphone & three mobile to be specific ) were useless in helping me unlock the phone and this site was perfect, no hassle, no overseas call centres to ring, quick and simple !

I was very unsure about this process and I had heard so many tales of failure, but I wanted to use my phone on a local sim card in Spain, so I fearfully went ahead. I got a reassuring email after payment, then heard nothing from Friday to Monday, then I got an email saying it was unlocked....and lo and behold it was. All I had to do was put a sim card into the phone from a company other than the origional locked one. That was all I did and the phone accepted the new sim card and works. I can assure anyone who is as unsure as I was, this company does "what it says on the tin" they are not scammers, they do a good job, and in my case it was done in 48 hrs if you ignore the weekend, ( and you don't need to be an electronics geek to make it work,) I went to itunes and it downloaded my music etc, put the latest IOS on the phone, and I have made and received calls. Brilliant A1 people.

Probably the only legitimate unlock iPhone service on the internet! Purchased an iPhone 5 from a friend (year old) and it was locked to Vodafone. Went through the preliminary check first (not mandatory) and then proceeded to go through the payment process. Estimated time was 24 - 72 hours. It received an email confirming the unlock had been successful on the 4th day (probably due to the weekend).
Now the phone is usable with any sim! I have even updated to iOS 7.1.1 and the phone is working fine. Cost me £49 in all - but it was worth every penny. Very pleased with the whole process. Forget the dodgy jailbreak and scam websites. This is probably the only legit way to do it. Will most certainly recommend to friends and use the service again myself. Very, very pleased.

As per the comments from other reviewers, I was initially sceptical due to the high number of scam companies. The "know your customer" request necessary to complete the transaction is also a little strange (haven't seen that anywhere else on the web).
Despite this odd step in the process the rest worked perfectly. Turn around in 72hrs.

After reading some of the postings on the forum I started to feel skeptical especially after 72 hours had lapsed, but got an update stating that Vodaphone 5C/5S were only unlocked once a week and I felt re leaved. After 6 days I got an email stating that my Iphone 5c has been unlocked. I didn't have to go on Itunes, all I did was put a non-compatible sim-card in the phone and activate my wifi and the phone worked. I would recommend these guys to anyone whose phone has no doubts of legitimacy. If it not stolen and you are using your true bank details please go for it.

Yes, it'll probably cost you but if you're in the position I was in and your network doesn't want to know, use these guys! For me, it took a total of 4 days, from the time I made the payment. You have to send in a receipt of your payment - if your bank sends you texts of your purchases that's a great one to send. Otherwise, they suggest you send a picture of your credit card, covering the number on your card, minus the last four digits and showing clearly the name of your card so they can ensure you're not using someone else's card. That wasn't mentioned anywhere and it took me a little by surprise. But I got the confirmation of receipt of payment at 9am the next day. By 2pm, they'd sent the request and from then I had to wait 3 days.
But hey, at least I didn't have to deal with my ridiculous network provider - VODAFONE - who had completely ignored my request to unlock my phone!

I tried my trusted network provider and to be honest I was severely let down by their lack of help so I thought I'd use a third party, hastily let me add. I took the plunge with officialiphoneunlock.co.uk and as I said, hastily checked for the information and reviews and bit the bullet.
Lo and behold my phone is perfectly in use and would and have reccomended this site to many.

Unlocked my Vodafone iphone and it works perfectly through the iTunes software and now my iphone is unlocked so my kids can use it on a different network.

Dont waste your time going anywhere else, these guys really deliver, ordered my unlock from Vodafone on Friday afternoon by 7.30am on Monday morning had an email saying unlock complete, hooked my iphone up to iTunes and it says "congratulations your iphone is now unlocked" cant praise these guys enough what a speedy service, no bullshit claims or dodgy software unlocks here just the real deal, real quick.

This is an expensive service but it's hassle free and you get peace of mind. My unlock happened exactly how I read it would be done and within the time frame given. Plan on using again in the future.

I have to start with how swift this service is! I paid £50.00 to unlock my iPhone 4s on Friday and when I woke this morning (next working day) I'd received an email advising that my phone was unlocked. New SIM card in and my phone worked instantly. The only downside to this service was the afore mentioned cost. £50 is a lot of money to unlock a phone but that said this is tried, tested and trusted site and if I ever need a phone unlocking again I will use them.

I took my iphone to vodafone to unlock for me but they refused, i did some research online and saw some pretty good reviews about iphone unlock.co.uk and i paid them to unlock my phone even though i was out of the UK in about a week my iphone was unlocked and ready to use.. Amazing service. My phone was locked to Vodafone and everywhere else was asking for £60+ to unlock it and they wanted to take my phone away for a while which I was not comfortable with. It was tricky especially as it was on the new operating system but this website literally got it unlocked within 24 hours whilst my phone was right beside me!
I wanted my iphone unlocked because I had bought it outright and wanted to be on a sim only contract and this website helped me enormously and was definitely unlocked in a timely fashion.
I did need support in the beginning and they replied promptly via Facebook.
The service definitely met my expectations and I haven't hesitate to already recommend them!

Unlocked two iPhones that were locked to Vodafone, so we could change provider after being messed about by them. Paid for the unlocks on Sunday, and received confirmation of the unlocks the following Wednesday, 10 days later. Two very happy people now we've changed providers!

Was a bit sceptical if this would work or not as the web is full of scam warnings. I used the service whilst travelling in Asia as I was sick of using basic mobiles whenever I entered a new country. It took just over a week to unlock and I was able to use my iPhone 5 in India, Thailand and Cambodia. Result! But pricey at £70 but worth it.

I ordered a Vodafone unlock late on a Thursday and received the success notification on Monday, 11 days later. Vodafone unlocks are batched every Thursday evening, and since I missed the cutoff it took longer than the stated 5 days. But it didn't matter to me and I was so happy to turn on my phone and just have it work with a foreign sim card. No messing around and wasting my time. AND it's an official unlock, so I can do upgrades, use iTunes, and not worry about messing it up. Totally worth the approximately $100 USD. Great service!

My iPhone 5 was locked to Vodafone and I wanted to use my EE sim, after a few recommendations I had a look at official iPhone unlock and was very surprised with the great service, I've always been a bit suspicious of rip off 'official unlocks' but this service worked very quickly and even after updating my phone it is still unlocked. Finally a friend suggested different carrier settings than my own carrier had provided which did the trick.

I unlocked an iPhone 4S on Vodafone UK and can confirm that it works 100%, and have had no issues since the unlock. My eleven year old was desperate for an iPhone, but my old iPone 4 was locked to Vodafone. Unfortunately Vodafone could not agree the phone was registered to me as I had my original phone replaced by Apple when it developed a fault and I didn't inform Vodafone of the change. Up stepped the unlock service to solve all of my problems. The unlock code was delivered exactly as indicated and I connected my iPhone to iTunes to find it had been unlocked as promised. I installed them new sim I had received for a pay as you go service and now my son has the iPhone he so badly wanted. Many thanks.

The unlock took a little longer however this was due to the fact I ordered it the day after the requests get sent to the provider therefore I had to wait until the following week for my request to be sent after that it took another week.
Once the unlock was done the email was sent and after connecting my phone the unlock was instant.
This service was good value for money and I would definately recommend them to others.

I bought a phone from ebay and didn't check which network it was with beforehand. Was horrified to learn it was vodaphone and I needed O2. Searched for a reputable company to unlock my phone and hoped that I had found one. Thankfully I had. It took 5 days but my phone is now fully working. Why oh why do people who purchase the service that these professionals offer, then complain after a successful unlock that they are too expensive is totally beyond me. I tried to get my iPhone unlocked via Vodafone whom I had been with for 19 months on contract, they refused saying pay the £535 that you owe us and then pay £19.95 and we will unlock the phone for you. Well I thought I was the proud owner of a house brick. After some research I came across Official iPhoneUnlock.co.uk, I never thought for one moment that I was going to have any success as Vodafone told me it is not possible for anyone other than them to unlock my iPhone. So I entered my iPhone details and a message came through on the screen we can unlock you iPhone guaranteed or your money back, well what on earth I had to loose nothing. So I went ahead and purchased an unlock from them and you have guessed it just as they stated when I purchased it took 5 days just like they said it would.
Now I am the very proud owner of an iPhone 4s factory unlocked. You know you cannot buy cheaper anywhere else, so I want to say to the moaners about the price get a life and get unlocked officially.

Does exactly what it says on the tin. They've just unlocked an iPhone5s which was tied to Vodafone UK. It took about a week longer than I expected but they did it. A full factory unlock. I've updated the OS without issue. True to their word they’ve officially unlocked my phone. No complaints here. Many thanks.

Wow. This service is incredible. I have an Iphone 4 (5.1.1) with the modem firmware 4.12.01 and as I searched online for how to unlock the phone all I saw was that it was IMPOSSIBLE. I was worried (to say the least). But somehow I ended up on this website www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk and their offer seemed too good to be true. I had just been scammed by another website, but I prayed about it and felt good about signing up! Their service was very good, they respond very promptly to emails and even though it said my unlock would be done in 5 hours, it took about a day and a half but they held their end of the bargain! I was extremely relieved to see the words "Congratulations your Iphone has been unlocked" in Itunes. I highly recommend this service! Just do it, they'll refund you if your unlock doesn't work but I'm sure it will!

This one of the very assured and honest company I have ever seen in this fraud and scam world.
I have unlocked my iPhone 4. It was locked to unknown carrier
they found my correct carrier and they unlocked.
They also returned my overpaid amount of 25 Pound.
As i have ordered to unlock Vodafone UK but they found my iPhone is locked to AT&T USA after my payment to 60 pound then they just charge me the price of 35 pound and remain money they refund me via Nochex and i will get it within 5 days.

Just unlocked a iPhone 4S previously on Vodaphone UK, put in the o2 SIM, and using the Wifi - it activated - even without connecting it to the PC.
Service is great, do not get fooled by these unlock sites claiming to do it with software, this is the best way and most reliable way to do a unlock. I highly recommend.

Excellent service, time span promise may stretch a bit longer but they get your device unlocked. If iTunes isn't able to unlock it at the beginning with your current version of it, try upgrading iTunes and it should do it immediately. That's what happened with me at least. All in all, everything went as supposed to.

It was with great scepticism that I placed my order within just a week of the release of the iPhone 5. It was locked to Vodafone UK and brand new out of the box to me.
I placed my order on Sept 27 2012 and to my amazement was notified on 30th that it was unlocked.
Not cheap, but a trustworthy and reliable service which I would recommend to anyone.

I was skeptical about all this, but my phone was telling me that it needs a change and was fed up of getting Gevey inside and always waiting until some wizard could break into the jail iOS is in when you get the phone from abroad. I don't fancy all the upgrades the system has but there are others that catch my attention every time. You know what dude maybe you right jailbreak is great but having another chip under the SIM was annoying sometimes. Even though no more calling to 112 or certain manipulations not needed at Gevey my phone was having enough. I found officialiphoneunlock.co.uk read through and why not give it a shot.
My phone is happy now. Just upgraded to iOS 6. Now all the music will be even better and the phone calls even more pleasant... It feels like a brand new phone.

Having tried a couple of similar services and being let down, I thought I would give these guys a go before returning my iPhone back to the UK for refund. The price was higher than the other services I had tried, but a great set of testimonials for unlocking iPhones quickly and efficiently proved I was going to be in good hands. I got the Vodafone unlock and the website said 1-5 days. I got an email on the 5th day (a Sunday, although they state they don't work Sundays). I checked the phone and true, it was unlocked! I did not have to do anything apart from provide iMEI number, model and which network it was locked to. Really like magic.

I accidentally updated my iPhone 3gs' baseband to one that could not be downgraded so I reluctantly realised that the only way I could get use out of this phone was to pay to unlock it. I did research and saw that many trusted iPhone sites mention www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk and it being the one to use. I paid and 5 days later I was finally unlocked from Vodafone UK. It took a while for iTunes and the phone to get themselves in order with messages like "activation currently unavailable" etc etc, but after rebooting the phone and re-inserting the SIM, I was finally up and running. My phones were previously on the uk networks ( Vodafone and everything everywhere) now working fine in India . Do not waste your money on so called jailbreaks get it factory unlocked here.

I was hesitant at first, but then I read all the positive reviews on Facebook. After I received my notice that my Iphone unlock code had been generated, I hooked up my phone via USB to my computer and opened Itunes. The unlock process took a few seconds and I was set.

They unlocked my iPhone 4s permanently (Vodafone) and all works great. They say they unlock any phone in 5 days however it may take up to 2 weeks even, probably all depends on which network it is and what kind of contract you have.
I would recommend it to anyone as they are trusted company.

I just did the unlock last night on a Sunday night, their off hours, and had it unlocked just before lunch. I'm in Kabul, Afghanistan and they are in the UK. If you are on a old iOS you WILL have to update but hey isn't that why we want a Factory Unlock?! To not have to deal with Jailbreaking and Unlocking via Ultrasnow or Gevey?
Well first I plug my iPhone into my laptop and iTunes did nothing. So I tried calling their Technical Support. I sat on hold 1 hour and finally gave up, same with their Sales line but I didn't stay on hold long before I hung up. After that I tried their Twitter account and Facebook. Nothing on their Twitter but I finally got an answer on their Facebook. I recommend you contact them there.
So after I found out I had to update I did that. I had a couple of errors, if you have any search on-line there are plenty of work arounds.
One last thing, IF you are using a Gevey Unlock SIM tray make sure it is properly cut. It took me three different sims to find one that worked. If yopu have your original sim tray it should work fine.
But other than the Support I would give it 5 stars!

It took a full two weeks to unlock my iphone.
The service works, but the inability to provide detailed status updates and the lack of any e-mail to confirm that the phone was unlocked was a bit frustrating.
Also, no confirmation on iTunes that the phone is unlocked
Just my opinion, but I can't fault the fact that my iphone is now sim free.
Recommended.

I recently unlocked my iPhone 4S that had previously been locked to Vodafone. I was a little skeptical of Official iPhone Unlock because there are so many scammers out there. However, everything worked great; my phone was unlocked within a couple days even though the average wait is up to a week. The instruction email was clear and I had no problem getting everything to work. One tiny complaint is that website and emails used pics from older versions of iTunes, but I have a newer version, so I wasn't sure what my screen should look like or whether the program would function in the same way (it did). So, ultimately, no harm done. I was a bit bummed about having to factory restore my phone and re-load all my 6,000 songs, but that's not the company's fault--it's just what is required for some unlocks. Overall, I'm very pleased with the experience and looking forward to being able to use my phone on any network when I travel.

My iphone 5 was locked to vodafone (free upgrade) and has been successfully unlocked. My daughter now uses the phone in China using a China Mobile SIM.
My main criticism is the hassle with getting my payment validated - despite my visa card being part of visa verify scheme and that it is difficult to get an answer by phone. This led me to believe I had been scammed which turned out not to be the case.

I bought an iphone 4 off of eBay only to find it was locked to Vodafone. I paid official iPhone unlock £70 odd through their Facebook page and waited. It told me it'd take 1-5 working days. By day 2 I was worried it was a scam. By day 3 the status had changed to 24-48hrs. By 1pm I was impatient and tried plugging my iPhone into iTunes and it was unlocked. The conformation email came through at 4pm. So pleased!! Would use again!
