I bought a used iPhone 7 that was listed as "unlocked" at a good price. I even confirmed it was unlocked when I paid and took possession of the phone again. Once I got it home it turns out that it was actually locked to Softbank Japan . They are one of, if not the hardest phone company to get to unlock a phone and I decided to try out this service rather than have an expensive paperweight. It took a very long time to happen and was $189 USD but after the wait it was unlocked today and I am using it currently. So if you have LOTS of patience then give it a try because they will get it done. I do understand that Softbank Japan is pretty much the longest carrier to get unlocked and they seemed much faster with other carriers so only worry if you have a Softbank Japan know. Overall, they did what they said they would do and I would use the service again and recommend it in the future.

I'm one of those people that mindlessly will go through reviews before I make a purchase, and coming across this site to unlock my iPhone 7 I was very skeptical. There are so many good reviews, however, there are some negative and reviews that say the site is a scam. I've had no issues with this site at all, everything went through as stated and you even get a tracking to see how far your unlock is coming along. It took 2 days and my iPhone 7 is now unlocked!

It was a great day with a great news today. At first I thought this site is a scam because my I5S locked to Softbank Japan was unsuccessful transaction. They gave a voucher as a refund and tried to submit my I5 IMEI locked to Softbank. After 7days of waiting its unlocked now. Good job guys. Thanks.

It only took 4 days (expected 7) and yes it worked on my IPhone 6plus ( Softbank Japan )!!! I was able to track progress multiple times daily. On the 4th day I checked before bed with 67% progress. I woke up as I received an email alert thirty minutes later telling me that my phone is unlocked. I would not hesitate to use this service if I were to need it again!

I was skeptical ... like I'm sure you are! Bu tI was angry too - very upset with SoftBank for not unlocking my phone even tough I'd paid for it. So I went all out to get it unlocked myself ... every holiday I checked with the local tech whizzkids - Delhi, Bangkok and HK but no-one could unlock from a Japanese network. I bought an iphone 6+ 128gb white space grey for a pretty good deal and it ended up the reason for it was for being locked as a Softbank Japan carrier it seemed like and ever since that day ive been wondering for a way to unlock it for a nice deal and i ended up getting referred to a unlock service from the UK. After sending in my request it was told that for Softbank Japan carrier it would take up to 5 days and that is very well understandable because Softbank Japan unlocking can be annoying if not the worst carrier to unlock out of the other carriers. However, in the next 32 hours i was notified that my phone has been unlocked and when i tested out another sim card I was very impressed. If anything In the mere future I would continue to support this service and recommend it to others, great deal fast service and no cons !

I bought an 'Locked' iPhone 5C Softbank Japan in the US and took it to the UK only to find it was still locked . I was told that and unlock in the US would cost me about $120. I got in touch with officialiphoneunlock.co.uk and in 2 weeks I had the unlock done and it only cost me 60$ .

I purchased an iPhone 4s for my son's 14th birthday from eBay, as a factory reconditioned, unlocked phone. As you can probably guess, the phone wasn't unlocked. It was in fact locked to a Japanese network. Worse still, it was barred! Great. After contacting officialiphoneunlock, my son's phone was unlocked in a few weeks. I thought this was an excessive time, but I can now see why it takes this time. It is an official Apple unlock. Not some back street software frig. Overall, I'm very happy with this service. This unlock really worked. I found it in internet and having been foolish once before, I found out that they offer something really different, not a jailbreak, it is a really unlock and I can update any iOS. I live in South America and I bought a locked iPhone 5S Softbank Japan expecting to unlock it in my country, where they really unlock anything, but it was impossible. at the end it worked. for some reason the 50% promotional offer valid only for 24 hours didn't worked (the phone seemed to be still in contract), so i had to upgrade from "standard" to "any network incl. blocked" service but got the previous paid money fully refunded by using the upgrade offer. after waiting the maximum number of anounced days i enjoy an unlocked iPhone5 :)

So here's how it is. I bought this phone on Ebay, but the seller never told me that he never paid off the bill for Sprint. So the phone was useless! Untill I came over this website! Oh my gawd how it works. I just called my mother on my unlocked iPhone 5s locked to Sprint!
All you have to do is wait and be patient! but it really works! It works great! I'm on Norwegian network using Talkmore on Telenor.
I got the email saying my phone was unlocked, but plugging it to itunes never showed any message about it being succesfully unlocked. So I panicked a bit. Unplugged and retried several times. Then I took a back up, restored the phone to factory default, put my working sim card in and activated the phone. It was unlocked! Fantastic!

At first I was skeptical about it, Because there are hundreds of sites out there claiming that they can unlock phones. As per confirmation email the unlock process was completed in 20 days (not including wkends) and my iphone 5 works perfectly. I am have in-contract iPhone5s for Sprint. I reside in india and I have brought this phone on ebay. Seller told me it is unlock, so I brought it but it was unlock to use any Softbank Japan card. www.officialiphoneunlock.co.uk unlock it for me they told it take 3 to 20 working days but my phone was unlocked in 3 working days only. I submitted my first unlock request on 08/15. It costs me £59.99. I received a reply the following week 08/22 that my current phone is in-contract and would need a premium service worth £99. So they let me pay the difference which is another £40. Estimated time frame is 3-20 business days. I've been checking my emails since day one and got no luck. I was tempted to even shout out them but I see on their page "don't shout at us". Lol! So I didn't. I was very patient. Until today (09/08), when I opened my eyes. I checked my email and suddenly, a notification popped out on my screen. The very news I want to see. Haha! Guess what, I'm writing my review here on my unlocked iPhone 5! So meaning it works! I left Japan in 2011 and my iphone4 was rarely used. By mistake i updated to ios5 in Singpore and from then onwards I was trying to unlock but was not successful.
Even though I had used many other high end smartphones, having an almost new iphone4 which i like it lot used to bother me a lot.
Had tried some unlocking solution couple of years back but it did not work ( of course I got the full refund ). Finally I tried OfficialPhoneUnlock, Initially I got the answer that this is locked phone which can:t be unlocked ( I pretty much gave up and also the 100+ dollars ). My iPhone 4 was locked to Softbank Japan. It has iOS and modem version that cannot be unlocked by other means.
On first transaction, they could not unlock the iPhone as it was "blocked". The money paid could not be refunded, however the full amount was kept in a trade account for my next purchase.
A few months later, the unlock for "blocked" iPhone is available and they emailed me. The price is higher than the previous amount and I paid for the difference.
The iPhone 4 is finally unlocked.

It looks SOFTBANK (Japan) is a very tough carrier to unlock iPhone.
But finally I got it and it works with NTT Softbank Japan SIM card now. This is amazing.
Having said that, patience is necessary because nobody knows when it becomes "unlocked". Trial took around 2 weeks.

Although the clean Softbank Japan unlock did not work for me as my unit was in contract, the Worldwide unlock works fine. I could use the value paid for the Softbank Japan unlock as credits to the Worldwide unlock which I thought was excellent service, i just had to pay the difference.

Finally worth the wait. It took me two attempts and more money than I wanted to spend, but my iPhone 4s that was locked to Softbank is finally unlocked. The first attempt came back as blocked, which meant that I couldn't get a refund. I was then notified a few weeks later that a "World Wide Network" was finally available for an additional fee. I paid the extra fee since I was only mostly invested and waited for three weeks for the unlock to come. Success.

My phone is unlocked at last! I thought I had been scammed, because it took a long time (one month for me) and it cost more than I expected (30 pounds and then a second charge of 50 pounds) but I got the notice and now it's working just fine on EE / T-Mobile (I was on Japan's Softbank network before)
These guys are genuine but it does take a while to get the unlock (otherwise I would have given 5 starts) - thank you.

Although it took quite a long time compared to what I have been promised, almost 15 days, I finally received the so long unlock awaited e-mail. I rushed to my iPhone, inserted a different SIM and couldn't believe that in seconds it worked. I chanced another SIM with a different operator and it worked flawlessly as well. Then I connected to iTunes and it showed my phone number and voila . To people who are still suspicious, I swear this is the truth.

This march, my brother has sent me the iphone 4s to me from America. I stay in India. I took my iphone to the apple store and requested for an official unlock. At first I was a bit sceptical, "Surely it is a scam."
I decided to try it anyway, after payment I quickly recieved an email saying that payment was succesful and in 1-3 days time, I should get another email telling me to connect to iTunes.
4 days later, I got the email....I was still sceptical. I restored my iPhone and I didnt get a message saying " Congratulations your iPhone is now unlocked" I definitely thought something had gone wrong now. However I popped in a new sim card and the iphone activated just fine. It had worked!! Just by plugging my iPhone into iTunes.
The only problem I have is that I cant use my sim from my 3gs - However this is not iphoneunlocks fault. It is my fault. As the 3gs and 4 use different types of sim cards. I bought a micro sim cutter off ebay to cut my sim down to size. However the cutter had cut it wrong!! It had cut the actual metal part of the sim, rendering it useless. Typically when I cut a different PAYG sim it cut it perfectly!! Sods Law!!. I now have a new sim in the post from my carrier.
Highly recommend these guys, there are lots of people that say this is a scam....It Isn't. Works perfectly.

My iphone4s was locked to Softbank Japan network and had lost all hopes as i upgraded that to 6.0 by mistake and could not do with gevey sim. Tried all types of hacking and cracking ...it was nothing more than an expensive IPOD. However came across this site officialiphoneunlock.co.uk which could officially unlock iphones!!

I'm very grateful for this service!
I was having trouble to unblock my cellphone, since I came back from Japan, I tried in many places to try to unlock, and I couldn't.

Il mio rammarico e di non essere arrivati a loro prima, finalmente un sito serio che non ruba i soldi e svolge il proprio servizio in maniera ineccepibile. Avevano chiesto 24 ore e 24 ore sono state. Non buttate i soldi nei soliti siti truffa che offrono software complicatissimi che non funzionano mai, meglio pagare il giusto e avere un prodotto perfetto. Lo consiglio vivamente a tutti.

Iphone locked to 3 UK, i got several opinions about 3UK all were negative that 3UK not giving unlocking provisions at all. Later i tried through officialiphoneunlock.uk, which was huge risk coz i paid amount in advance.
I was not sure whether i will get succeeded or not. After order, their timeline was 7 working days, to get it unlocked. I waited till 19th working day, lost all my patience, was waiting to put my complaint wherever possible. But got mail from them on 20th day saying 'your i phone is now unlocked' !!!!
Thanks in millions to the team (official iphone unlock.uk) !!!!

When i shifted to india from japan my iphone became just an ipod as it was locked to japan. Tried everybody but no one was able to unlock and finally official iphone unlock made the impossible to possible and my iphone 4 is now official unlock and i am luving it. Thanks a lot to your team

I was a little skeptical at first paying a company to unlock my iPhone and after putting my details into there website I changed my mind, shortly afterwards I received an email with a link to plenty of genuine positive reviews for me to look through and another email offering me £10 off the unlock price so I decided to go with it and I'm glad I did, I placed my order on Thursday and it's now Monday and my phone is unlocked so in total took only 2 days as they said that weekends don't count, I will be recommending this site to anyone that asks me where to get an iPhone unlocked when it seems like too much trouble for their own carrier to do it for them, highly recommended

First I had my doubts about the service, you never know if it is not a well known company, but I trusted the "official" iPhone unlock service, and it worked. It's a bit expensive, but as I had not to go to any phone service and could organize unlocking from home (the new phone company didn't offer that service) it is comepnsated by good service. Its was been a year I was holding two I-phone and were using them as I-pod. finally came across this website and got the work done. Was slightly worried about this being a scam site, but having read the good reviews I knew it couldn't be. It's 100% genuine, they unlocked my Softbank Japan iPhone 5 successfully!
Original timeframe was 1-3 days, took about 7 working days in the end, but was worth the wait! Would recommend these guys, just be patient :-)

After trying 2 other companies who sell cheaper unlocking 'jailbreaking' from $9.95 to $29.95 I just paid the £50 to have my sons iPhone 4s officially unlocked by a uk based company. Q. Why did I pay so much more? A. because the other companies unlocking software didn't work and the gauranteed refunds aren't being paid.
Guess you get what you pay for.
Only reason I can't give 5 stars is because of cost and time taken (3 days), but at least it worked unlike the other scams that are out there.

After listening to other people on the difficulties in getting an Iphone unlocked, especially when the provider was in another country, it was quite daunting until I saw the OfficialiPhoneUnlock website. After reading a short intro, I decided to go with the flow. The downside was I had to wait about 1 month for the unlock. But when it did it was very straightforward. Not the cheapest but they do deliver.

I had some little problem with the payment as my country of residence does not match the country of my bank account. Once this was solved, the process unfolded very smoothly. I had to restore my iPhone (as suggested in the instructions I received), but this was done without any problem.
