Pheww.....Iphone unlocked at last. Given time was 24 - 48 hrs but took 4-5 days to get unlocked. Emailed customer service twice. Was advised that It all depends on network server. Sometimes its quick and sometimes it takes few days. Mine took few days but was done at last

It took two days for the unlock to be processed (48 hours plus) and I was worried as a couple of places online said this service was a scam however I was kept updated frequently and my I phone 5c on EE network is now unlocked with no problems and I can use my 02 sim. Overall would definitely recommend

My Iphone 6 from EE was unlocked and I'm using it right now while in the US.
I read some 'scam' stories after I had alredy paid and became worried myself, but that was all for nothing in the end. Just wait til your tracker reaches 100% and you receive the email! Would use again and reccommend.

The unlocking of my daughters iPhone 5c from EE took 4 days, including a weekend. The progress indicator proceeded slowly until 73%, then stalled for 30 hours......and suddenly we were notified of completion of the unlocking! Very happy daughter and if she's happy then so am I. Recommended service.

I admit I was very sceptical on this, EE had refused to unlock my iPhone 6s on 3 separate occasions, even though I bought the phone outright!!
Paid the unlock. 8 days later ( even though I'd had regular updates) I did think I'd been scammed... an hour late I get the all important email ' your iPhone is now unlocked' I couldn't get my giffgaff sim in fast enough! And it WORKED!!! I'm absolutely delighted, can't thank these guys enough as I was just about to sell my phone !
** they kept me politely updated through the whole process as there was a backlog of a couple of days **

As many other reviews state, I too was hesitant in ordering the unlock as there are many websites offering the same service but the reviews are a mixed bag, so I decided to take a leap of faith and ordered the unlock on a Friday morning, by Monday morning it was complete with no issues!
The whole process was very simple and I was kept up to date throughout, the price can be expensive but if you want a service that truly works then this is the best one.

google searched and came across these guys, as most have said I was sceptical about how genuine this company are as there are so many dodgy companies trying to scam a few quid.........but I was blown away by how simple, strait forward and quick it was. Checked IMEI choose the provider it was locked too { EE }. Unlock complete today. Got an email informing me of completed unlock popped in a voda sim and there its was done and dusted. And all I had to do was sit back and wait. just be patient when you think its taking forever it will be done.t far cheeper than another phone and you wont be disappointed at all. so so happy thank you.

Had an old work phone with no SIM, locked to another network. Couldn't get the network to unlock it for me, OfficialiPhoneUnlock was a little bit more expensive but they did what they promised. the end result was great.

Well, I'm amazed! I thought the "50%" "60%" thing was just a gimmick, I didn't expect that a service like this could actually solve my problem. I was waiting for it to reach 100% and tell me there had been an error, and had resigned myself to buying a new iPhone. I received an email 5 minutes ago saying "your iPhone is unlocked!", put my new sim card in (that didn't work before) and voila! It works perfectly!
Thanks so much, it took 5 days in total for the unlocking to work from my UK EE network and cost £89 in total, but it saved me about £500 on the cost of a new phone. Bravo and thank you again.

The unlocking process was super easy. Everything was smooth.
Took over 1 week to unlock, but constant email from support regarding the progress ( the email is generic) eases the confusion/doubt.
I recommend, unless you find a cheaper option that is convincing.

Had my iphone 6 unlokced from EE (UK) Network because after 4 formal applications to the carrier none cared to unlock my phone . Totally useless customer service from EE and totally awesomeness in customer service from OfficialiPhoneUnlock.co.uk. It took some days more (4 working days ) due to the carrier's network problem (Yeah EE network /avoid) but i was guided all the way through the process and progression of my unlocking status . I paid to unlock my iPhone 6. It took a few days and then I had an email to say it was completed. I tried the phone but it was still locked.
I contacted official unlock and without delay they apologised and sorted it straight away.
I am now using my unlocked phone.

When I put my imeI number in it said unlock today I checked my email the next morning it was there in black and white your iPhone is unlocked I put the sim in connected to iTunes within 30 seconds EE came up on the screen and I was connected . I have tried to unlock a Nokia with another company before waited 10 days and nothing and then three weeks to get a refund so I am really impressed this time many thanks

Really good service from this company - my one bug was the provider O2. They were extremely unhelpful when I did not want to renew contract and I turned to Officialphone unlok for help in unlocking my iphone which was locked to O2. I cant thank them enough as I was paying O2 contract AND EE without even being able to put in EE sim card. I think that the cost of £19.99 was reasonable for their professional service.
I have a phone on the correct contract now!!!!

I was a bit sceptical of this website (as we all are with today's scammers) but my wife's iPhone 4S was locked to EE and wanted to change (poor reception in our area and even poorer customer care). It's not cheap, but a great deal cheaper than buying a new iPhone for O2 coverage. Once unlock request was submitted we were quoted 1 - 5 working days but it actually took 7 working days! We were considering calling them as it was taking so long but lo and behold, the email came through and O2 sim worked first time.

Firstly, let me just say that I had serious doubts about this unlocking service. I took a chance and I am pleased to announce that it worked!
My iPhone 5 was unlocked in 2 working days but I was not informed until the 3rd working day due to the weekend. Although I would have preferred a progress update, I contacted the sales agent via email when the 24-48hr time frame had been exceeded and they responded promptly.

I was a little sceptical about using this service purely on the point of cost, but as I had had the iphone given to me I thought I may as well try it as the cost incurred is much less than buying a new phone , I had always wanted an iphone but could never afford to buy one and contract prices seem high. I am so glad that I did, I waited 12 days for my unlock and when I received the notification email the unlock was done it worked straight away, even the operating software was automatically updated. So my experience with this company has been a very positive one, even better when my present contract is up with the awful EE I am free to use what ever carrier I like, so well worth the money as far as I'm concerned I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The service was actually very good, though a little expensive. I read loads of reviews good and bad about official unlock, and concluded that most of the bad reviews were the result of people not reading everything on the website. They are actually pretty clear on price, could be even more obvious though. They also highlight issues with phone being barred or locked via find my phone, and place links to check. I found them all and was therefore pretty confident that i would get the unlock requested, and did in 4 days against a quote of 5, so OK. The phone was locked to T-Mobile who were a nightmare to deal with before i decided to use this service. I get the impression even from the site prices that all the EE companies are more expensive/difficult to get the unlock from, The experience with T-Mobile customer (oh no you are not) so we won't provide any service department, i would say it is worth the money for officialiphoneunlock to do it for you. Read the website.

Unlocked an iPhone 5s, Locked to the ee network.
Excellent service, really first class.
Took around 3 days all in all, it was around Christmas /New Years ...
Gave my IMEI number and that was it.
Put my old O2 SIM card back in the phone and hey presto was unlocked.
No connecting to iTunes all over the air..
Really pleased with the service, 5 stars truely.

Had a phone locked to EE UK and had a nightmare with the company to try and get it unlocked. Went to the site, read a few reviews first and thought why not. Then it said it would take 1-5 days to be unlocked. I was panicking a bit and getting stressed out because I saw a few reviews saying it was a scam, but received the email to say that it was unlocked! Huge relief! And now the phones unlocked and can use it! It is expensive, but it gets the job done and I will definitely recommend it!

I gave my iPhone IMEI on the 22nd December and i was told it will take 1-5 working days.
Although after reading the reviews online that the website is a complete scam, all hope was lost and
now that four days later i got an email saying that the iPhone has been unlocked was a good sign.

Ok, so I feel I owe these guys an apology for doubting them and what they claim to do. Bear in mind, that during my search to unlock my iPhone 4s I came across a LOT of dodgy companies offering to do the same via various software, which came with LOTS of malware/potential viruses, but just being patient and with some reassurance from actual people responding to e-mails and addressing my concerns, I now have a *almost* unlocked iPhone 4s (the previous owner has not removed the iCloud/Find My Phone lock so I'm dealing with that now) but the SIM lock has been removed. In all honesty, I tested it last night and was excited to see my phone get passed the "SIM Not Valid" screen (YAAY!!) before OfficialiPhoneUnlock sent the status update, so it was actually done in LESS than 24 hours.
It may be a lengthy process for certain carriers, but that's mainly down to the original carrier (in my case EE). Despite previous reviews claiming OfficialiPhoneUnlock to be SCAMMERS, I can confirm that this is NOT the case. Use their service and just be patient. It does work.

It was with some concerns that I entered this site and paid for the unlock. The site could be mistaken for a very elaborate scam when you see comments about not contacting them because they are in the hands of others. But, I went ahead and was very pleased with the result. My iPhone 5S was unlocked just a couple of hours outside the 24 to 72 hour window.

When I found myself needing my phone unlocked, I was so frustrated at the prospect of dealing with people who claim to do it 'over the air' etc I thought the whole thing was a complete con and I was basically going to be stuck with a phone no one would buy. However I gave this site ago and within 24 - 25 hours they had fulfilled their promise and my phone became totally unlocked. I could not be happier and the price was not bad either. I am now free to use my phone here in Portugal and when the time comes I can sell it with out needing to worry about anything.

I was uncertain about using an online service, but had been quoted lead times of up to 15 days to unlock an EE phone by in town traders and really needed the phone unlocked quicker than that as it was a present for my granddaughter.
I paid for my order on the afternoon of the 29th September and the phone was working by 4pm on 1st October quicker than I expected and no hassle all done remotely by the carrier through a wireless connection and we just put in the O2 sim card and it worked perfectly :-) I didn't believe it was so easy.

If you are sceptical about using this service please don't be. I'm a 64 year old granny and had no problem getting my iPhone 4 unlocked. Yes a tad pricey but they get the job done. Was kept informed of progress and emailed with the magic words "UNLOCKED" and within the promised timescale. Go for it .......NOW !!

I ordered an EE iPhone 5S factory unlock from officialiphoneunlock.co.uk. The price was a little expensive (119.99) although it was still cheaper than selling my phone and buying an unlocked one. The Order Status screen said the unlock would take 24-72 hours but when this time expired my iPhone's status didn't change. I then contacted Official iPhone Unlock's Customer Service via email to enquire if there were any issues. I received a prompt reply from David who clearly explained why delays occur but said that as the time-frame for my unlock had expired he would chase up the delay. David kept me regularly updated on the situation and was always polite and informative despite received quite a lot of emails from me. After 5 working days I received an email from officialiphoneunlock.co.uk explaining that the delay had been due to a backlog and that my iPhone would be unlocked on that day, which it was (within 2 hours). Thanks officialiphoneunlock.co.uk.
For those looking to have an iPhone unlocked be aware that there can be delays and these delays are often caused by the networks and not the unlocking company. Be patient but don't be afraid to contact officialiphoneunlock.co.uk if your unlock had exceeded the estimated time-frame, they were happy to help me and I found their Customer Service to be excellent.

My phone is unlocked at last! I thought I had been scammed, because it took a long time (one month for me) and it cost more than I expected (30 pounds and then a second charge of 50 pounds) but I got the notice and now it's working just fine on EE / T-Mobile (I was on Japan's Softbank network before)
These guys are genuine but it does take a while to get the unlock (otherwise I would have given 5 starts) - thank you.

Bought an iPhone 5s from what turned out to be a very dubious seller on Amazon. Ordered an unlocked phone, got one that was locked to O2. In all the system was very easy to use but the time it took to unlock was nowhere near what was suggested. It took over 3 weeks & a lot of messaging to finally get the unlock through. The phone wasn't stolen etc so no reason for the delay.
The cost was quite high too, more than I first expected.
Once the unlock comes through it's a piece of cake.

After 16 years with Orange (yes 16 years) I had to transfer to to EE. Only word to describe them is 'Disgraceful'. My phone was locked and Apple / Orange / EE denied and dodged any responsibility - they were an absolute disgrace and I will be reporting them to Ofcom.
In the mean time I resorted to using these guys. Yes, I was reticent, and yes, it did cost me £100 but they were the only guys who did 'what it said on the packet' .
Do not think twice about using them.
I would give my private number or email so you could verify this review but I am not prepared to do that.
But after the **** I have been through I recommend these guys - good money very well spent

Very pleased with the service and now able to use my phone abroad. My phone was not able to be used abroad due to it being locked to the t mobile service. Hi- am suraj from India. When I bought an advertised iPhone 5s from eBay as unlocked, I was in for a surprise. It was indeed unlocked by a geavey sim or rsim. My phones battery drained like anything. More than anything it's the mind which was killing me after paying soo much ( the whole retail price ) I couldn't do anything abt it. Read the reviews here and took the jump. Mine was locked to EE UK network. Wanted to unlock as i moved out of country. At first order it took little more than time it explined. When I enqueried I got a message that my phone is listed as barred handset. I thought it might be another way to ask more money. I checked with another website to verify and found they were correct. I have moved to a different country (US) and wanted to use the device. Could not get it unlocked by calling EE (UK), since it is around 5.5 months old. I was very dubious about getting my phone unlocked online. Did a lot of research via the web. Came across OPU - site looked good - but if it was a scam it probable would look good! Did the first part - took time and then I forgot about it - so my fault for it taking nearly two months. Then had to pay the additional bit - not sure why it is so expensive?? Checked price at a shop and it was going to be more - so hit the CC again.
Last week it all came through and my wife's phone is now unlocked. Good ticketing system for status.

I tried a number of different companies/organisations who promised to unlock my phone without any real success but eventually found PhoneUnlock.

Although the unlock procedure took a little longer, than was stated, I'm happy to say, that the unlock worked perfectly, with no hassle.
After restoring the iPhone via iTunes, the "Congratulations, you are unlocked!" message appeared almost instantly.

Waited around 6 business days...and at 7:20pm got the email i was waiting for.....UNLOCKED!!!! put my o2 sim in and i was one happy iphoner!! wooo hooooo!!!!!

Ok so where to start....iPhone 5 purchased from eBay and knew beforehand it's locked to Orange UK....never mind I thought I should be able to unlock that after a few months.
Roll on a few months and to be told by Orange that as we are not original owner it cannot be unlocked, now that's like saying you've brought a second hand car but unfortunately you can't insure it again or get it serviced as you're not the original owner.
Now what to do.....came across many different sites and did or tried to do as much research as possible until we stumbled across Officialiphoneunlock.co.uk....looked like a professional we'll put together site, lots of reviews and varying prices.
Having rang through to the number on the site and was told takes about 1-3 days to complete the unlock.....no problems.....so bit the bullet and went ahead with purchase.
Only then to read horrid and scary reviews about unlocks not being done, the website is a scam etc etc.
Alarm bells started ringing and more so where bank details are requested to verify card user, so an email was sent stating I would not do this but photos sent to verify, photos wee of holding cards but no number showing.
So received an email on Monday saying it had been accepted and should take 1-3 days.....1 week passed and no news....getting worried now......start of 2nd week another message on the status page saying request sent again.....4 days passed and with us losing hope ping on the 5th day your iphone has been unlocked!
Now in all honesty it took longer than we thought and one drawback or feedback even would be that a phone line is required whereby you can ask regarding your current order as the website says don't contact it, yes large volumes are probably received but it would help put the consumers mind at ease.
Also weekends in terms of contacting someone would be nice, only other negative point would be that it costs I'd say £20 too much.....a few around £80-100 even though high would have been good.
But all in all please have patience yep I'm not a patient person myself and in all honesty I would TRUST this website......it unlocked our iphone5 in 10 working days!

My iPhone 3GS was locked into Orange UK. The unlock procedure was completed in 3 working days and now the phone is working fine on EE after restoring through iTunes.!

I got my iphone 4S unlocked from EE UK and the service was very easy. If i wanted to ask a question i just logged onto their website and the customer service team would answer your questions quickly while making sure that you understood the whole process. This process is very simple. You purchase the unlock for your carrier and provide your IMEI number from you iPhone. Next you get a confirmation on the screen and an email receipt. They indicate the process may take up to about 6 hours to receive your notification that your iPhone is unlocked. I received mine in 4 hours via email with instructions to activate the iPhone. All I needed to do was insert my already activated sim card and hook up my iPhone to iTunes and that was it. For some reason it didn't unlock after I connected it. But after I disconnected it and within a few seconds...whalaaa. It was unlocked and my t-mobile service icon popped up! This is great! You receive some money back for posting a review and also more money back if you record a video of the unlock. So, all in all this service is much cheaper than others and very reasonable.

Well, what can i say, looked into getting the unlock from OfficialiPhoneUnlock, I checked the feedback & watched a couple of YouTube videos because I thought it may be a scam. Then I decieded to go for it, payed my cash last Wednesday and gave my IMEI, went away for the weekend and come back today and WOW, connected to iTunes and now my iPhone4 is unlocked, amazing, THANK YOU so much OfficialiPhoneUnlock!!!

I’ve been looking for over a year now on a way to unlock my iPhone. Out of nowhere I found this website! It took me a full week to decide and proceed and try to unlock the iPhone. The customer support was outstanding in answering my questions. They deliver what they advertise!!Within six hours received an e-mail saying that my iPhone was unlocked and what I had to do to unlock. If I buy another one I’ll be sure to comeback. Ok so this is the first review I write fora website.. I have to cause I'm so pleased and want to assure others who may be in doubt still. I'm from an island in the Caribbean btw.
Both my mom and I have locked iPhone 4s from EE UK. Mines had been unlocked with a Gevey but then updated so it locked back. Hers has been locked for months (since January). Just in case, I decided to try hers first before unlocking my own. They are both locked to AT&T but my firmware is a bit more updated.
I did it on Sunday so I had to wait a bit. Monday night (3am). I got the email saying the iPhone is unlocked. Tuesday morning I went ahead and connected it to iTunes.. No service but reading the sim.. It gave the congratulations your iPhone has been unlocked though!
My parents and I spent a bit of time trying to figure this out only to find out the sim's carrier had already given the number to someone else !
So we tried another sim and another carrier and it came on after maybe three seconds. :D
We were so pleased!
Also beforehand I had messaged them with questions two times and received answers very promptly. It did take more than the 6 hours approximated but less than 24 so it's reasonable time regardless.
Thanks to that site. Imagine my mom'sphone being locked an entire year!
It works. Simple as that. They are trustworthy and wonderful :) this is the first and only site I have used to unlock my phone and I'm so glad I chose the right one.
Oh and also my mom's phone was jailbroken and that didn't change. Nothing changed except of course it now being unlocked. We did not have to restore or anything. I hope my unlock goes as smoothly! And my aunt's own is next

I came across this company online and spent some time checking them out and comparing it with others. I was very skeptical about it at first especially after I could not send the money directly using my debit card and they do not have a Paypal account which I think they should so people can be more at ease and to make it worse, I am located in the Islands of Cape Verde, est Africa.But anyway I sent the money transfer through my bank and was eager to get unlocked from T-Mobile UK. But 1st I had to be very patient since it took a few days for the money to be cleared, then another 24 hours for them to get the response from Apple servers. I sent the money on Tuesday, it was recieved on Thursday and I received the e-mail telling me that I was unlocked on Saturday morning (a week-end, mind you). That's why I feel nothing but pure joy joy joy, because these folks are real and they take care of their customers. I was even so happy to know from the web designer, that the concept for the site was done in Cape Verde when he came here on vacation months ago. Well folks, there you have it. I trust them totally and I will do business with them again and will tell all my friends about them. Thank you again for this new found freedom for my Iphone.

Full marks to OfficialiPhoneUnlock once EE had got them selves sorted it only took 3 days to get my phone unlocked, I was always kept up to date as to what was happening so I am very happy and would highly recommend to any one.
Orange UK or should I say EE have dragged their heals over this one (September to date)

Wanted my phone unlocked and not the half baked option that my previous carrier offered.Came across Official phone unlock on the net and looked at what they offered,did a bit more checking to make sure it was all legitimate,and took the plunge.The only thing I found was that I wasn't informed before paying, that if you are outside the U.K. there would be a delay due to another security step.I think this should be written upfront.
Perfectly happy with how it all worked out,my phone is now unlocked and now operates on the same carrier as my other iPhone.Would recommend it to anyone that wants their phone unlocked.

Very good service. One that undercuts the local retailers on the renowned 'backstreet stalls' which also charge £50+ and demand to take your iphone off you for 3 days. Very easy to pay and very quick and efficient service with an email notifying you straight away once the unlock is complete. I highly recommend this service not only for its ease, efficiency but also it's quality being an official Apple unlock which stays permanently unlocked for the future. 9/10

Initially concerned with already having jail broken my iPhone 5 & wanting to unlock it the guys from http://officialiphoneunlock.co.uk/ put my mind at ease. Paid Monday, phone unlocked Tuesday.
Could not use phone otherwise since I moved out of the UK for work for three months and EE could not be bothered with helping a paying customer.
I would recommend them to anyone who has a phone locked.
The cost is high but paying roaming fees would have been much higher...
